What data is extracted from receipts
Merchant name and address, transaction date and time, itemised list of purchases with individual prices, subtotal, tax amount, total paid, payment method (where printed), and receipt or order number.
For restaurant receipts, individual dish prices and service charges are extracted. For retail receipts, SKU codes and discount amounts are captured where present.
Export formats for expense reporting
Receipt data exports to Excel with separate columns for each field, making it easy to compile expense reports from multiple receipts. For accounting software integration, CSV export maps to standard expense import formats used by Xero, QuickBooks, and FreshBooks.
