Mercury Statement to Excel Converter
Convert Mercury statement PDFs into clean, structured Excel spreadsheets. Mercury is business banking for startups, with checking and savings accounts, sub-accounts and Mercury IO cards — FlowParse reads the monthly statement and rebuilds every transaction (incoming and outgoing transfers, ACH and wires, card spend and fees) as an editable row with date, description, counterparty and a signed amount.
Scanned or digital · multi-page · balance-validated · duplicates removed
Mercury's dashboard is built for founders, not for handing to an accountant, so month-end and tax prep still need a spreadsheet. Instead of exporting fragments, upload the monthly statement PDF, let the AI extract it in seconds, review the editable preview, and export to Excel, CSV or a QuickBooks-ready file — with the balance validated before you download.
AI extraction, no templates
Reads this bank's layout with no per-bank setup.
Every column preserved
Date, description, amount, balance and every extra field, 1:1.
Balance-validated
Opening + transactions = closing, checked on every file.
Scanned & multi-page
OCR for image PDFs; long statements stitched into one list.
What FlowParse extracts from a Mercury statement
A Mercury monthly statement lists incoming and outgoing transfers, ACH and wires, Mercury IO card spend and fees around the beginning and ending balance for each account or sub-account. FlowParse reads it and pulls the full record: date, description, counterparty, the signed amount and the running balance.
Everything on the statement is preserved. Credits and debits become one signed amount column, the counterparty is kept, and the balance summary confirms nothing was dropped across page breaks.
| Field | Captured in the export |
|---|---|
| Date | Transaction / posting date, normalised |
| Description | Payee, merchant or transfer detail, verbatim |
| Amount | Single signed value (debits −, credits +) |
| Balance | Running balance per transaction |
| Reference / type | Check number, transaction type, reference |
Built for startup month-end and reporting
Mercury's dashboard is designed for founders to run the business, but accountants and investors want structured data. FlowParse turns the Mercury statement into one tidy transaction sheet so month-end close, burn-rate tracking and board reporting are quick.
Because extraction is AI-based, it reads checking, savings and sub-account statements without setup and signs every amount correctly so totals reconcile.

From PDF to clean data in three steps
1 · Upload the PDF
Drop one statement or many — digital or scanned, any number of pages.
2 · AI extracts & validates
Every transaction is read, amounts signed, balances checked, weak pages retried.
3 · Review & export
Check the editable preview, then download Excel, CSV, QBO, QFX, OFX or Xero.
Convert to the format you need
The same extraction powers every export — convert once, then choose the output your next tool expects.
| Format | Best for |
|---|---|
| Excel (.xlsx) | Analysis, totals, sharing |
| CSV | Importing into any tool |
| .QBO | QuickBooks Online & Desktop |
| .QFX | Quicken |
| .OFX | Most accounting tools |
| Xero CSV | Xero statement import |
Manual work vs FlowParse
Re-typing a statement by hand is slow and error-prone. FlowParse is near-instant, accurate, and scales to any volume.
| What happens | By hand | FlowParse |
|---|---|---|
| Reading the data | Copy-paste line by line | AI extracts every transaction |
| Scanned statements | Re-typed manually | OCR reads them automatically |
| Debits & credits | You fix every sign | Pre-signed, normalised |
| Balance check | Manual reconciliation | Validated automatically |
| Time per statement | 20–40 minutes | Under 30 seconds |
| A full year | Hours per account | One Smart Merge upload |
A whole year into one reconciled Excel
Smart Merge takes up to 100 Mercury PDFs across accounts and sub-accounts and consolidates them into a single reconciled Excel with one unified transaction sheet, duplicate detection and a source reference on every row.
That turns a year of startup banking into one clean workbook for the annual review or tax filing.
Import straight into your accounting software
Need it in your books? FlowParse builds a real bank-feed file. The .QBO imports directly into QuickBooks with no CSV column mapping, each transaction carries a unique ID so re-imports never duplicate, and Quicken users get .QFX.
Validated, not just converted
The same extraction powers every export: Excel for analysis, CSV for importing anywhere, a real .QBO/.QFX/.OFX file that auto-imports into QuickBooks or Quicken with no mapping, or a Xero-ready CSV.
It fits founders doing their own books, fractional CFOs and bookkeepers handling startup clients, and anyone preparing financials for investors or a lender.
